Peonia BV has started in 1979, after several years of learning and informing, to collect and multiply peonies. Our goal is to search and produce new varieties with good cut qualities every year. At this moment there are approximately 270 varieties on our nursery which are being judged for these qualities. Multiplying the peonies is fully being done on our own nursery. We aim mostly at producing good and healthy material for the cut flower market.
We are connected to the NAKTuinbouw (Netherlands Inspection Service for Horticulture) which checks several times per year our fields in order to keep our quality level at the highest. This connection is a demand for the export and a request for the inland transfers. A ‘quality label’ if you will.
